Nikita M. Gambrell

Nikita Marie Gambrell was born on February 6, 1976 and unexpectedly departed this life to be at home with the lord on January 16, 2020.  She was born to Carol Cowell English and the late Willis Andrew Cowell. 

She was predeceased by her father Willis Andrew Cowell and both her Maternal and Paternal grandparents.
 
Kita had a wonderful spirit, a loving, caring and giving heart.  She had a smile that could light up everything around her.  She will be forever loved and missed. We may  feel that she was taken too soon. But God knew that she was a gift that was his to give and his to take. He allowed her to bless our lives for as long as he could.  Now she is safe in his arms and forever in his care.
 
She leaves to cherish her memory her Mother Carol Cowell English, stepfather Edward M English.  Son Jaquon Cowell, Daughter Alexis Bright. Brothers Antonio Cowell, Willis Andrew Cowell III, Edward English Jr and Sister Denise  Branche. Six grandchildren: Granddaughters Sahmiyah Cowell,  A’Journee Cowell. Grandsons  Shamir Dozier and Amir Dozier (twins), Jasiah Cowell, and Julian Cowell (twins). Great Aunts: Blanche Hollman of Virginia Beach, VA, Rebecca Troteman  (William) of Moyock, NC.  Aunts: Linda Briggs of Los Angeles CA,  Tongie Coins of Virginia Beach, VA, Delphine Harper (Paul) of Chesapeake, VA, Marjorie Pitt of Virginia Beach, VA, Alma Battle (Herbert) of Moyock, NC,  Sharyn Taylor of Virginia Beach, VA, Bonita Coins of Chesterfield, VA. Uncles: Eugene Coins Jr. of Reno, NV, Jeffrey Coins (Bonita) of Chesterfield, VA. and her special friend Kevin (Luke) Williams, and a host of family, friends and loved ones.
