Olevia Roberts

Olevia Roberts, 80, passed away on January 29, 2024. She was born February 2, 1943, in Kelley, Louisiana, to the late Jack and Henrietta Johnson.

Olevia, ex-wife of Lem Roberts, was a workaholic who retired after 30 years of service as a federal employee for Nexcom Navy at the Norfolk Naval Base. She also was a Captain Security Officer for Securitas Security for 17 years.

Besides her parents, Olevia was predeceased by her daughter, Stephanie Cooper; four sisters, Bessie Dubose, Earnestine Thomas, Voncille Roberts and Irma Jean Whitmore.

Olevia leaves to cherish her memories, two sons, Marvin Roberts, Kendall Roberts; four sisters, Helen Barnes, Ruby Jean Thomas, Lucille Jordan, Francis Iron; one brother, AJ Starks (Josephine); five grandchildren, Monty Askew, Marvin Askew, Latisha Roberts, Jessica Brown, Tyson Roberts; three great grandchildren, Jahki Brickhouse, Tierra Mcswain-Roberts, Jace Deaton-Brown and a host of other relatives and friends.
