PAMELA CRYSTAL MCCOY BROWN 

Pamela, a loving wife, mother, daughter, and true friend, was a kind and genuine woman who received her Angel wings on May 15, 2024. She was born on July 16, 1968 in the District of Columbia and raised in Virginia Beach, VA. She was educated in the Virginia Beach public school system and graduated from the Floyd E. Kellam High School in 1987. In 1992 Pamela meet the love of her life, Eric A. Brown. They married in 1999 and formed their loving family. Pamela had a green thumb and a passion for growing plants. She loved traveling, collecting semi-precious stones, shopping, and had a great sense of style and fashion. Pam loved spending time with her husband, children and grandchildren. She also loved being around her extended family and socializing. She took great pride in trying to be at every family event. She was the type of woman that would give you her last. She left a lasting impression on everyone she met and always made you feel important. Pam loved the Lord and always prayed, not only for her sake, but for all those she loved.

Pamela was predeceased by her parents, James and Dorothy McCoy; grandparents, Rev. John W. and Hattie Uzzle McCoy, Arthur and Julia Smith.

Pamela leaves to cherish her precious memories, her husband of 32 years, Eric A. Brown; children and stepson, Brian, Michael, Jonathan, Erica, Shaquille, Tamia, Eric Jr.; grandchildren, Christopher, Righteous, Aani, Lily, Jonathan Jr., Jamaurion, Catorri, Eric III; uncles, Richard Smith, Howard Smith (Georgia); aunt, Delores McCoy Ash (William); cousins, Eugene Edwards, James Barrington Jr. (Lynn), Stephanie Gilchrist, Michelle Smith Burton (Kenner), Zondie McCoy, Tracy Whaley Davis (Monscyco); sister-in-laws, Gwendolyn Jones, Arlene Finley (Greg), Cynthia Mack, Latonya Brown; brother-in-laws, Alphonso Williams, Antonio Williams; best friend, Charlotte Leary Pollock; family friend, Gloria Woods; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
