Born on October 23, 1955, to the late Pernell Wamonton and Lucy Willis Cason, Pernell Wamontom Cason II was affectionately known to family and loved ones as “Scott”. While being comforted by his wife as well as devoted loved ones in his home, Scott entered his eternal rest on March 3, 2024. The seventh of nine siblings, Scott was a native of Virginia Beach, Virginia where he was educated in the public school system. After the course of schooling, Scott united in matrimony to Debra D’Nise Stokes, the love of his life, where in this union two daughters were birthed.
Scott had a career in the hotel industry where he performed diligently through professionalism and commitment until his health began to decline. Being a Dallas Cowboy fan was a known factor of his life as well as his hobby in building model cars along with auto mechanics and the joy of music. Scott had a genuine heart full of love for everyone he encountered. His top-notch joy beyond loving his wife and children above all things was the moment he became a Grandpa/PaPa…. Loving his grand and great grand children was the joy of his existence. No one can ever take away the purpose and fact of Scott being an amazing husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and loyal friend. We celebrate him for the unique way he made people feel.
Scott is now proceeded in death by his parents, two sisters, Joan L Ellis and Patricia Olivia Powell, and one brother, James Earl Cason. To know Scott was to definitely love him. And today we are grateful for his life and legacy of love that will remain with us.
