Life Reflections
Richard Elvis Epps, II was born on March 9, 1971 to Charlotte Love and the late Richard Epps, Sr. in Chicago, IL.
Richard better known as “Scooby” to family, and “Rich Nice” to others, was educated in the Chicago educational school system. He graduated from Chicago Vocational School then enlisted in the United States Navy. Before Richard was honorably discharged, he served 6 years and even was deployed to the Persian Gulf war. Later in life he worked as a Customer Representative for Hampton Roads Transit (HRT).
In his spare time, you can find Richard working on classic cars or making music with his friends. His favorite football team was the Chicago Bears. Richard also loved gardening, but his greatest joy was spending time with his family.

Richard leaves to cherish his fond memories, the love of his life, his wife, London Epps; precious children, Shyasia, Saniya, Aniyah; loving mother, Charlotte Love; caring aunts, Marlie Jean, Gwendolyn, Gail, Lisa, Josephine; a group of men & women that he served proudly with while in service to the Navy known as the “White Plains Family”, Put, Derron, Brad, Mark, Boon, Trish Sykes, just to name a few; a host of cousins; other relatives and friends.
