Stephanie Mechele (Roberts) Cooper

Stephanie Mechele Cooper, 52, passed away January 9, 2019. She was born Aug. 11, 1966 in Charleston, SC. 

Stephanie was a graduate of Green Run High School where she was a member of the gymnastic and track team and attended Howard University.  She worked as a Security Officer for Pembroke Mall for 15 years and Securitas at Landstown Yards for 17 years.  Stephanie was a member of Union Baptist Church, Virginia Beach.

She is survived by her husband, Charles R. Cooper, Sr.; one daughter, Jessica Brown; her parents, Olivia and Lem Roberts; two brothers, Kendall Roberts and Marvin Roberts; one grandson, Jahki Brickhouse; stepchildren, Meoncle Cothron, Chyna Cooper, Jeroald Cothron and Charlie Cooper, Jr.; and a host of other relatives and friends.
