Zollie Thomas Perry, Jr. was born on April 21, 1945 in Norfolk, Virginia to the late Zollie Sr. and Fannie Turner Perry. Zollie obtained his Master of Arts Degree in Urban Education and was a Certified Substance Abuse Counselor. He enjoyed watching his favorite shows, reading his Bible, and eating his favorite foods at Chic-Fil-A.
Zollie was preceded in death by his siblings Esther Edward, Sarah Elizabeth Bibbins, Mildred Perry, Amos Thomas Perry, William Perry and Robert Lee Perry; and his son Michael Perry.
He leaves to cherish his memories his wife Deborah Perry; four children Kristal Harris Williams, Dennis Harris, Zollie “Mann” Thomas Perry, and Zolita Perry Shaw; nine grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; five siblings Johns Owens, Isaac Perry, Geraldine Jackson Quarlie, Barbara Ann Cooper, and James Perry; three nieces Wanda Perry, Dorothea Perry, and Brenda Everette; friends Dan Rose, John Simpson, Michael Hackaday, John Selby, D. Wong, Vincent Harris, and L. Watts.
